RMS uses questionnaires both as an intercept at fixture, for a short & specific questionnaire, and on exit / after tills, which can be longer to cover more aspects of the preceding shop.

Shopper questionnaires give purchase levels where no sales test is being used due to lack of controls or base period. They quantify the level of conscious awareness and engagement with an initiative.
